'Rise Beneath the Dawn' is a song about starting the new year feeling empowered. A brand new day, brand new year, brand new perspectives, and brand new clarity. It represents looking forward into the future with a focussed vision, attracting the right kind of energies and situations for yourself. The song features one of the Blessed Is Ruby vocalists, Sophie Zhakata. Sophie is a London based artist who was discovered by Blessed Is Ruby founder Oli Rose many years ago, and they have worked together ever since.

Blessed Is Ruby is the empowering story of an imaginary female character through visuals, animation and music. Oli Rose, the creator of Blessed Is Ruby, has spent the last decade being surrounded by
both new and veterinary musical talent. After graduating from Westminster University, Oli Rose was discovered, picked up and mentored by the legendary producer Cameron McVey (Portishead, Neneh Cherry) and then subsequently being taken under the wing of prolific A&R man Felix Howard (Amy Winehouse, Sia), Oli has worked with an extensive range of artists and band in many different capacities, from artist development, writing and production, live show bookings, and social media consultancy.
